{This is a Be Wealthy and Feel Good Post}
After the two day intensive Master Mind with my tribe, paralysis hit. I had sent everyone with a plan for 2015, the support and community they needed to each feel strong once home with the pushes & pulls of life.
and then, Mercury Retrograde hit. Now, I am not one of those who over dramatizes the influence of the cosmos, in fact, more like the opposite, but there is something humbling about misunderstandings, plane delays, pipes bursting, iphones dying. Would you say?
If you don’t know about Mercury Retrograde, your whole life may have just opened up. Ever wonder why there are times when the perfectly working printer all of a sudden pulls an inconvenient strike on your project? Google it. Prepare for it, if you wish.
I approach this time of year with excitement. Yes, true. I’m an odd bird. See I have been writing a book for now seven years, and as I evolve, somehow so does the book. I’m in second revision of the editing… but I digress.
Back to my pumped up Master Mind & my failed action items…
After such intense transformation, and such clarity, a girl has got to integrate. And sometimes integration takes a long ass time. In my experience, like 3 weeks. And coiciding with a retrograde, then, this is the perfect combo for sit, rumminate, sit some more, feel like shit because you are not getting stuff done, check facebook, but most importantly… yes, indeed self-care.
So, my darling, if you started 2015 with a bang, all pumped, full of heart towards your dreamy new reality of “New Year. New Me.” and you are today finding yourself lost, be not afraid. For you are exactly where you need to be right now.
Lose the guilt. Stop the comparing yourself to your friend’s status update, and practice self care.
My fave: um, well, that’s a whole book in itself, but for starters… go somewhere alone, sit, meditate, do something nice for yourself, whatever that may be.
I’m on a plane as a write (yeah, wifi on JetBlue rocks) and my first stop in LA? Lake Shrine Temple. Going to walk, meditate, sit, integrate my mind blowing realizations, and then get some work done this week.
May you not EVER ask yourself whether self care is required. Know it is.
Blessings,
Asha
